Summer Programs
Academic, housing, and dietary accommodations are available for students with disabilities enrolled in any Berklee Summer Program.

Academic Accommodations
To request academic accommodations, a student should complete the following steps:
- Submit the appropriate accommodation request form.
- Aspire: Five-Week Music Performance Intensive students: Please submit an Academic Accommodations Application in My Accessibility Portal (MAP). In order to access this application, you will need your Berklee OnePass login credentials. Please contact summer@berklee.edu if you need assistance setting up OnePass login credentials.
- All other Summer Program students: Please complete the 2025 Summer Program Registration with Accessibility Resources Form.
- Submit documentation of the student's disability or disabilities that supports the request for academic accommodations. Documentation can be uploaded to the request form, emailed to accessibilityresources@berklee.edu, faxed to 617-747-2091, or delivered to Accessibility Resources, located at 939 Boylston Street. Documentation should be written by an impartial provider such as a psychologist, therapist, or medical doctor. We recommend that documentation be current and written on official stationery. Examples of documentation may include, but are not limited to: 504 Plan, Individualized Education Plan (IEP), neuropsychological evaluation, or letter from a provider. Please note documentation is not required at the time of request submission. However, the college may require additional documentation to establish reasonable accommodations.
- Schedule a welcome meeting online or call Accessibility Resources at 617-747-2387 to schedule a meeting. As part of the welcome meeting, an access advisor will review the student's prior experience with accommodations, discuss current barriers to access, review the available documentation, and establish reasonable accommodations. The student is required to be present at the welcome meeting; parents and other advocates for the student are welcome to join the meeting.
Housing Accommodations
The deadline to complete the housing accommodation request process is two weeks in advance of the summer program. Please note that housing accommodation requests made after the deadline will be reviewed and may be placed on a waiting list due to housing capacity and room availability. To request housing accommodations, a student should complete the following steps:
- Submit the 2025 Summer Program Housing and Dietary Accommodation Request Form.
- Submit documentation of the student's disability or disabilities which substantiates the need for a housing accommodation. Documentation can be uploaded to the request form, emailed to accessibilityresources@berklee.edu, faxed to 617-747-2091, or delivered to Accessibility Resources, located at 939 Boylston Street. Documentation should be written by an impartial provider such as a psychologist, therapist, nurse, or doctor. We recommend that documentation be current and written on official stationery. Documentation should meet the following guidelines:
- State specifically the housing accommodation request(s);
- Include a clear statement of disability or diagnosis information;
- Provide supporting information regarding how the housing accommodation(s) will provide equal access in the Berklee residence hall.
- Schedule a welcome meeting online or call Accessibility Resources at 617-747-2387 to schedule a meeting. As part of the welcome meeting, an access advisor and the student will discuss barriers to housing and how an accommodation(s) will provide access. The student is required to be present at the welcome meeting; parents and other advocates for the student are welcome to join the meeting.
Dietary Accommodations
Berklee Hospitality has dining options for the majority of students with food allergies. Visit the Berklee Hospitality website to learn more about what dining has to offer. You may also reach out to diningservices@berklee.edu for more information. If you would like to connect with Accessibility Resources to learn more or be referred to Berklee Hospitality please schedule a meeting with an access advisor.

Documentation should be written by an impartial provider such as a registered dietitian, nurse, or medical doctor. We recommend that documentation be current and written on official stationery. Documentation should meet the following guidelines:
- Provide supporting information regarding an accommodation that provides access to the Berklee dining facilities;
- Include a list of allergies or restrictions and how they might affect the student's disability or disabilities;
- Include a clear statement of disability or diagnosis information.
- Schedule a welcome meeting online or call Accessibility Resources at 617-747-2387 to schedule a meeting. As part of the welcome meeting, an access advisor and the student will discuss barriers, restrictions, and how an accommodation(s) will provide access to the dining hall. The student is required to be present at the welcome meeting; parents and other advocates for the student are welcome to join the meeting.
- If eligible and reasonable accommodations are established, the student will be referred to meet with Berklee's registered dietician or the director of dining services for a consultation. Please visit the dining website for more information.
