Presidential Search Committee

The members of this search committee have been carefully chosen from Berklee's strong and diverse community based on their wealth of institutional knowledge and their vision and excitement for our future. Most importantly, this committee is rooted in and authentically embodies Berklee's fundamental values. 

The presidential search committee plays a vital role in determining the attributes desired for the next Berklee president, as described in the presidential position description. The Board of Trustees has charged them to work collaboratively to source a compelling and diverse slate of qualified candidates, thoroughly and fairly assess the candidates, and ultimately recommend a final candidate to the board for approval. The final authority to elect the president rests with the Board of Trustees.

With a commitment to an inclusive and collaborative process that reflects the rich diversity of our institution in mind, we formed an advisory committee for the presidential search, made up of students, faculty, and staff, to include an extensive range of important constituencies at Berklee. This group will have the opportunity to give confidential candidate feedback to the presidential search committee.
