The Physical Plant department manages and oversees approximately 1.1 million square feet of campus facilities across our Boston location. This includes the maintenance, operation, and strategic planning for a diverse range of buildings and spaces, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and functional to support the needs of the campus community

HVAC Preventative Maintenance Our HVAC team spends 75 percent of its time on proactive maintenance to ensure system cleanliness and functionality, supporting a comfortable campus environment. We value feedback to continuously enhance our services.


We manage general and preventive maintenance, repairs, and custodial services to ensure the functionality and cleanliness of the campus.


We oversee real estate acquisitions and manage campus facility planning to support the long-term growth and development of the institution.


We initiate projects that involve significant, longterm improvements or new developments to enhance and modernize the institution's infrastructure. 


We engage with departments across campus to integrate sustainability initiatives and create learning opportunities for students, faculty, and staff.


Hours of Operation

Physical Plant Office

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Maintenance Services

  • Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Maintenance is on call outside of their service hours.

Custodial Services

  • Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. (23 hours)
  • Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
