Berklee Fenway Neighborhood Improvement Grant
As part of an ongoing commitment to making positive contributions to the City of Boston, Berklee has established the Berklee Fenway Neighborhood Improvement Grant program. Boston nonprofits are eligible to apply for funding to support community-based projects and initiatives that contribute to the vibrancy and quality of life in the Fenway neighborhood. Applications will be accepted through December 6, 2024. Grants will be awarded in January 2025.
Berklee Fenway Neighborhood Improvement Grant Criteria
Organizations (or individuals sponsored by an organization) must be:
- Located in or serve the Fenway or Back Bay
- Nonprofit or fiscally sponsored by a Fenway nonprofit
Projects/Programs Should:
- Occur within and enhance the Fenway neighborhood
- Should be publicly accessible and free
- Provide a public benefit or serve a public need
Grant funds should not be used for:
- Stipends, compensation, or prizes
- Planning processes or projects that are not approved or ready to be executed
Note: If your project will take place on public or private property, you must obtain and submit a letter of permission from the property owner/manager or agency before your project can be considered for funding. If approved, applicants would be expected to gather and demonstrate community support for their projects as part of the process.
