Curatorial Chronicles: Black Women Artists with Dr. Andrea Barnwell Brownlee, Ph.D.
Dr. Andrea Barnwell Brownlee, Ph.D. joins us on Thursday, April 20 for a lecture on Black art entitled “Curatorial Chronicles: Black Women Artists.” Dr. Brownlee served as the director of the Spelman College Museum of Fine Art in Atlanta, Georgia, for nearly 20 years. She currently serves at the George W. and Kathleen I. Gibbs Director and Chief Executive Officer at the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens. Dr. Brownlee is an award-winning art historian, curator, educator, and writer.
