Give to Africana Studies Today

Thanks to generous alumni, parents, and friends, we are emerging as the preeminent global hub where mastery in performance and academic excellence intersect to reflect the brilliance, resilience, and hope of Black Creative Expression.
Your gift makes a difference.
Your gift to Africana Studies supports our students and faculty in the most meaningful manner possible. Each year, tremendously talented artists from across the globe come to Berklee College of Music, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and Berklee Online to study with world-renowned faculty in one of the most creatively fertile and experientially stimulating environments in the world. Africana Studies is responsible for introducing, teaching, and sustaining their interest in the African diaspora, historically, culturally, intellectually, and creatively through music, dance, and theater.
With your support, our students will emerge as culturally competent global leaders who are respected creatives, producers, scholars, choreographers, entrepreneurs, dramaturges, industry executives, attorneys and dedicated government, and corporate and nonprofit leaders. Our faculty are leading global authorities as practitioners and scholars deeply inspired to offer our students the tools, resources, and network they need to accomplish their dreams and more.
Gifts of all sizes ensure that Africana Studies equips and challenges diverse human beings to lead with a commitment to equity and justice through a unique curriculum that inspires inclusive creations. We count on your generosity to help further our commitment to be, in the words of John Coltrane, “a force for good.”
