Two Track is a music video series designed for Berklee’s YouTube and social media channels that features artists in an intimate setting with only one microphone and continuous camera takes. Each recording session will revolve around a single theme (i.e., connection, love, dreams) that can be expressed by the artist either through their track selection or through a short storytelling segment that will be recorded as part of the performance. The videos in this series will premiere at specific dates and times, but if you miss the premiere, each video will be public on the channel in continuity.

This week’s Two Track features Hope Davis and Josh Silvera performing “Other Side” by Madison Ryann Ward and “Lost You” by Snoh Aalegra.

About the Artist

Hope Davis has been singing since the age of 6, when she was introduced to gospel music in her church choir in Detroit, Michigan. She is currently pursuing her bachelor of music degree in music business/management with a minor in teaching contemporary voice. Her current musical influences include Jhené Aiko, H.E.R., and Jazmine Sullivan.

Josh Silvera is a musician of many hats: guitarist, singer, songwriter, teacher, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Josh has worked as a performing and recording artist across Los Angeles and Boston. In 2019, he released his first single, “Streetlights,” under his own name and began working as a hired guitar for local bands (most notably with the eclectic Britpop/soul/ West Coast rap group PLVNK). In January 2020, he began his songwriting degree at Berklee College of Music. His EP Mambo Johnnie’s Slow Descent into Madness will be coming out at the end of 2023.
