To make your gift by phone or to speak with a staff member, please contact our gifts processor at 617-747-2236 or email giving@berklee.edu and include your name, phone number, and reason for contacting Berklee. A member of our staff will call you in response to your message, so including the reason for your inquiry will help us direct your message to the appropriate person.

Gifts of Stock

To give a gift of securities, bonds, mutual funds, or commodities (stocks), please contact our gift processing department at giving@berklee.edu. Donor-Advised Funds

Please contact the company that administers your donor-advised fund for guidance on making charitable gifts using your fund. Berklee's federal tax identification number is 04-2300472. If you have questions, please contact our gift processing department at giving@berklee.edu. 

Gifts-in-Kind

In addition to cash donations, Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee gladly accept gifts-in-kind. A gift-in-kind is a non-monetary contribution of goods or services. Examples of accepted tangible goods include musical instruments, equipment, auction items, and various materials related to performing arts and music education. Examples of services include donated transportation, meeting space, and professional support. Berklee will make a determination regarding acceptance of an intended gift based on the quality of the instrument or equipment, demand, and preservation required.

Berklee is a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, all contributions to Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee are tax deductible. Berklee is not allowed to make a determination as to the value of gifts-in-kind and must leave this responsibility to the individual donors. Please consult with your tax advisor in order to fill out the IRS 8283 form.
