Moon Star is a rock band that blends jazz and world music influences to create a unique sound. Their repertoire includes songs by Chick Corea, Kansas, TOTO, and Black Sabbath, as well as non-Western artists such as Dhafer Youssef, Ilaiyaraaja, and M.S. Viswanathan. The set also features original jazz-rock compositions by the band's drummer and leader, Akash Nandakumar.
