Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Boston Lyric Opera present an afternoon of conversation with soprano Christine Goerke.

John Hollenbeck, the Harmony and Jazz Composition Department's Ken Pullig Visiting Scholar, brings his groundbreaking group GEORGE to Berklee, featuring Anna Webber, Sarah Rossy, and Chiquita Magic.

Capping off six months of collaboration with students from the Composition and Electronic Production and Design Departments, the ensemble Hypercube will perform new works for instruments and electronics.
 

Boston-based pianist Sakurako Kanemitsu (G.P.D., Longy School of Music) performs a solo recital of evocative works by Berklee faculty composers Marti Epstein, Andrew List, Ryan Suleiman, and others. The Egyptian zodiac (List), imagined sounds from Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women (Epstein), and colors and movement of artist Peter London’s drawings (Suleiman) are just some of the sources of inspiration on offer in this dynamic program. Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey will host Nashville, Tennessee jazz and roots bass legend Viktor Krauss for a discussion on how to build a successful career.
 

The Gathering is an ongoing series presented by the Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice. Events are open to the greater Berklee community and public, and feature performances, guest lectures, workshops, and discussions—all with gender and racial equity as a guiding principle.

Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s Vocal Arts Department welcomes back baritone Roderick Williams, OBE, for an intimate evening of vocal works with Boston Conservatory faculty member Brian Moll at the piano. Williams is one of the UK’s most sought-after baritones and is constantly in demand on the concert platform and in recitals, encompassing repertoire from the baroque to world premieres.
