Step into a world of legendary showdowns and epic storytelling as the Contemporary Writing and Production (CWP) students reimagine iconic melodies and craft original compositions. This concert—conceived, arranged, managed, and produced by CWP students—brings to life the timeless struggle between heroes and villains—whether from the silver screen, the pixelated realms of video games, the pages of comic books, or the unsung battles of everyday life.
Featuring original compositions and dynamic arrangements, including a special contribution by faculty member Bernardo Hernandez, this performance celebrates courage, conflict, and the music that shapes our perception of heroism.
Under the direction of Alex Clements, Kareem Clarke, and Yoshie Nakayama, and produced by Amparo Edo Biol, this is more than a concert—it’s an immersive journey into the heart of storytelling through sound. Don’t miss the chance to witness the power of music in defining the heroes and villains of our world.
