Ensemble Department faculty member Anastassiya Petrova, a pianist/organist, presents a program of jazz originals and covers together with her friends. Joining her for the evening are Eli Heath on bass, Tyson Jackson on drums, and special guests.
This concert will feature Petrova’s own compositions dedicated to her mother, who recently passed away unexpectedly. It also will feature moments of free improvisation and exploration of healing through music, as well as Petrova’s own arrangements of tunes we all know.
