Ololade "Lola" Robinson (she/they)
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Ololade has always loved the performing arts and creating works that inspire others. She is currently going into her senior year at Boston Conservatory, majoring in Commercial Dance. Before becoming a full-time dancer, Ololade spent many years as a vocalist, performing in local musicals and talent shows around her city. She even had the opportunity to sing “Lift Every Voice” at the 2021 NFL Draft. Along with being a vocalist, she trained in hip-hop, African, jazz, musical theater, ballet, modern, and tap dance, taking special interest in choreography and creative direction. Outside of performing, she finds joy in music, poetry, astrology, and small animals. After her first year, Ololade noticed a lack in Conservatory representation within student leadership positions at the college. Being a Commercial Dance major, she knew that incoming students would have many questions about this new program and wanted to help by offering her insights. She is also a Student Advising Mentor and assists students with registration, time management, and career planning. Ololade became a BSI mentor to not only help Conservatory students navigate their transition from high school to college, but to also be a safe space for those who are seeking guidance.
