Biography

As assistant vice president for systems, networks, and information security, Bob Xavier is responsible for the planning and operation of the college’s enabling technology infrastructure and its secure operation.

Xavier is a part-time lecturer on technology-enabled business alignment, integration, and innovation for Northeastern University's D'Amore-McKim School of Business. Throughout his career, he has focused on helping higher education and nonprofit organizations realize the benefits of effective information technology systems. Prior to joining Boston Conservatory as IT director in 2004, he founded the San Francisco–based IT consulting group Mission Accomplice, which served the technology needs of over 30 schools and nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area. He also served as the first IT director for Wheelock College.

Xavier holds a B.A. from the University of Rhode Island and an M.F.A. from Emerson College, and is pursuing an M.B.A. from Boston University's Questrom School of Business.
