Formed in 2019, Certainly So is the brainchild of lifelong friends Tanner Gray and Colby Wilson from Birmingham, Alabama. Drawing inspiration from the Beatles, the Grateful Dead, and Vampire Weekend, their music features lush harmonies and introspective lyrics. Reuniting with Mississippi musicians Chase Porter (bass) and Zach Corder (drums), the group collaborated with producer Toby Hulbert (Abbey Road alum) to craft their 2020 debut album, Future Self Only Dreams, recorded at Muscle Shoals’ East Avalon Studio.

Their follow-up album, Dreams of Green (2022), recorded in their Nashville basement and mixed by Hulbert, expanded their sonic storytelling. The band’s 2023 single, “Alabama Blues,” marked their triumphant return, followed by a series of singles leading up to the release of their highly anticipated album, Probably Not, in November 2024.

Certainly So continues to blend nostalgic influences with fresh creativity, solidifying their place in the modern indie music scene.

Having grown up in Madrid, Spain, US-based artist Brie Stoner draws from her multilingual and multicultural background in her indie dream rock music. With vocals reminiscent of Mazzy Star and a fresh production sensibility, Stoner has collaborated with producers such as Jay Bennett (Wilco) and David Vandervelde (Father John Misty). Like a Man, her new EP, is a melodic ode to her formative years in Los Angeles; the record shimmers like sunshine on ocean waves.

In addition to being a beloved cohost of a hit podcast with over 4 million listeners, Stoner’s voice and music have been featured in national campaigns for brands such as Ralph Lauren and Victoria's Secret, and in series such as Orange is the New Black and The Affair. Stoner's new book, Turned On: A Creative's Guide to Awakening, Presence, Pleasure, and Possibility, is out on January 7, 2025 from Broadleaf Books.
