Berklee Social Media Community Guidelines
Welcome to the official Berklee social media channels, curated and managed by Berklee Communications and Marketing. Our goal is to provide access to people, places, events, and news at our institution. To maintain a respectful and engaging digital environment that supports our Unified Mission and Vision and aligns with our Fundamental Values, we request that all visitors adhere to the following guidelines:
- Respect: Treat fellow community members and channel managers with civility and courtesy. Personal attacks, threats, harassment, profanity, spam, bullying, or other inappropriate contributions are grounds for removal. In addition, posts that violate the social media platform’s policies, disclose information that is confidential under law, or incite imminent lawless action will be removed.
- Relevance: Please stay on topic when contributing to discussions and avoid duplicate posts. Duplicative comments by the same user may be removed.
- Inclusivity: Hateful or discriminatory comments will be removed.
- Collaboration: Foster a spirit of collaboration and constructive dialogue.
- Authenticity: Be genuine in your interactions and contributions.
- Privacy: Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others. Additionally, do not post content that violates copyright or intellectual property rights.
Page administrators have the discretion to remove inappropriate or abusive comments, to ban or block users who violate these guidelines, and to review and report comments from community members who violate the Berklee Code of Community Conduct for students or Berklee’s Standards of Conduct for faculty and staff.
