Retrograde88 will perform as part of the Fresh Prospects series—a showcase of the best up-and-coming artists attending Berklee. Formed back in October 2021, the bandmates connected while studying at Berklee. Members include lead vocalist Francesca Londono, bassist Maddie Russell, guitarist Olivia Monarch, drummer Jack Becker, and synth/keys player Gabriel de Solages. Influenced by the likes of Tame Impala, the Cocteau Twins, L’Imperatrice, and Radiohead, they create a euphoric atmosphere with haunting harmonies, 70s-esque funk basslines and drums, and lush synthesizers and guitar.
VVN is a music producer, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from right outside of Washington, D.C. They make R&B-electronic jazz music for ethereal fairies and lighters of incense.
