Fresh Prospects: antransax / Kam Frost
antransax (An) will perform as part of the Fresh Prospects series—a showcase of the best up-and-coming artists attending Berklee. An is a special and rising Gen Z artist/producer/arranger from Vietnam. Not only does she play the saxophone, but she can also sing and play guitar. antransax is a rare gem in Vietnam who inspires and proves to audiences that instrumentalists need more recognition and appreciation. She is also a down-to-earth musician who could play any and work with any genre of music. She recently worked with the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra for a live performance on TV, dedicated to the National Day of Vietnam. She has worked with famous rappers and singers from Vietnam and collaborated on hip-hop, R&B, and even rock projects. An says, “At the end of the day, musicians make music. Music lovers enjoy listening to the good music, but the audiences who pay to get tickets and see you want to see you perform, satisfy them, and entertain them.”
Kammeron Frost hails from Ohio. She is finishing her senior year of college and sparking her music career in Boston. Frost performs a unique blend of genres including, contemporary pop, alternative hip-hop R&B, and neo-soul. She incorporates her deep, meaningful lyrics and vocals into her work. Frost writes everything from scratch, from lyrical concepts to the entire melodic ideas in her vocals. She is a dedicated creative striving to share music that relates and connects to others past just a play button.
