South Asian Student Association (SASA)

Founded January 2022

SASA is the South Asian Student Association under the Berklee India Exchange. This has been the dream association for many South Asian students that finally came into being in 2022. The population of South Asian students at Berklee has been increasing slowly from only a few in the 2000s to currently about 200 students. This increase brought in a progressively stronger demand for an official association for South Asians where students from that diaspora could associate, participate, develop, and enjoy a feeling of a home away from home. However, SASA is an inclusive organization which welcomes people from outside the diaspora to join in, learn about, and be part of South Asian culture!
