My accommodations and/or equal access are not being honored. How can I report this?
Please reach out to Human Resources at hremployeerelations@berklee.edu to report this concern and explore options for support.
I think one of my students needs accommodations. How can I help them?
It’s important to never assume that students require accommodations. If a student has not explicitly disclosed a disability to you, you can refer the student to a resource such as their student success advisor, who can work with the student’s success network to determine the best support system for that individual.
If a student has explicitly disclosed a disability and is requesting accommodations for it, and you have not received a letter for that student from Accessibility Resources, you can direct the student to the Accessibility Resources website to begin the process of requesting accommodations.
Can get I more information about accommodation requests in my classroom?
Disability-related information, including documentation, eligibility letters, and correspondence, is considered confidential and is shared only when disclosure is required by law or on a need-to-know basis. If you have concerns about a student’s accommodation, please contact accessibilityresources@berklee.edu.
