Biography

As vice president for enrollment management, Keiko Broomhead Ed.D. oversees the overall enrollment strategy and execution for Berklee College of Music, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Berklee Valencia, Berklee NYC, and Summer Programs. She guides all aspects of strategic enrollment management across Berklee’s campus-based programs, including enrollment planning, analytics, recruitment, admissions, enrollment operations, and student financial services.

Prior to Berklee, Broomhead worked as a strategic advisor at Tambellini Group, a higher education technology research and analyst firm, where she engaged with private and public colleges and universities on their strategic technology and market-building initiatives. 

For over 25 years, Broomhead was a leader at Wentworth Institute of Technology, where she served as vice president for enrollment management for 14 years, after previously holding leadership roles as dean of enrollment management and director of admissions. As vice president, she led admissions, international student services, the registrar’s office, student financial services, and a one-stop student services center. She also successfully built teams that increased enrollment, academic quality, diversity, and retention across 19 bachelor’s degree and seven master’s degree programs. Under Broomhead’s leadership, the institution successfully launched 12 new undergraduate degrees, as well as the university’s first five graduate degree programs.  

Broomhead holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian studies and Spanish studies from Oberlin College, a Master of Education in administration, planning, and social policy in higher education from Harvard University, and a doctorate in education from Northeastern University.
