TaLaya Clanton

TaLaya Clanton joined Berklee in August 2021. In her current role, she oversees and coordinates programming that supports students and families as they transition to become part of the Berklee community. In her former role as the associate director of student involvement, she oversaw the areas that support the advancement of Berklee's vast portfolio of student clubs and organizations and that engage students in campus programs and traditions. She has a BS in exercise science and an MEd in educational leadership and policy studies from the University of Texas at Arlington as well as a Doctor of Education in learning and organizational change from Baylor University. 

Outside of Berklee, she enjoys taking long walks around the city, reading, scootering around town and discovering new music. She grew up in Texas, but has enjoyed making Boston her home. You can reach her at tclanton@berklee.edu.
