Biography
After 40 years at Credit Suisse, William Davis retired in 2008 from his investment career, which started at Eastman Dillon Union Securities and included opening the Boston office of Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette with his partner.
Davis served on Berklee’s Board of Trustees for more than 30 years. As head of the finance committee and later as board chair, he was privileged to play a part in Berklee’s evolution from a leading school of contemporary music to a college of great renown. More recently, he served on the president’s council of Plymouth State University.
Davis lives in Holderness, New Hampshire, where he and his wife, Jessica, enjoy the beauty of Squam Lake and visits from his children and grandchildren.
