Sas Metcalfe

Since joining Kobalt as its first employee in 2001, Sas Metcalfe has played a vital role in helping Kobalt grow into the publishing powerhouse it is today.

Metcalfe oversees all of Kobalt’s creative services, new deals, and signings, and is in charge of identifying high-level opportunities for partnerships with emerging publishers. Throughout her career, she has signed world-renowned artists and songwriters including Radiohead, Bjork, Moby, David Gray, Zayn, and many more. She has been honored with Billboard’s Women in Music Award for the past five years and with Music Week’s International Woman of the Year Award in 2017.

She was head of A&R at both Warner/Chappell Music UK and EMI Records UK prior to joining Kobalt.
