I Am Snow Angel

I Am Snow Angel fuses digital and organic elements, creating a sound that is at once ethereal and earthly. The music is composed, performed, produced, and engineered by Julie Kathryn. Her work has been praised by Earmilk (“Touching, ambient music that echoes in one’s heart even after the song finishes."), Magnetic Magazine ("...equal parts spellbinding and spectacular..."), MusicTech, Tape Op, Cream Magazine, Refinery29, All Things Go, and many others. Kathryn is a full-time music producer and sound designer for Ableton and Splice, and cofounder of Female Frequency, a musical collective dedicated to empowering women in the music industry. Her new concept album, Mothership (released January 25, 2019), was recorded in a remote cabin in the wintery Adirondack woods of northern New York.
