Raised in Southern California, singer-songwriter Eddie Berman has written songs since he was a teenager. His bedroom demos have earned substantial play on the California-based public radio station KCRW-FM. Berman has recorded and played throughout North America and Europe. He performed for several thousand people over dozens of sold-out London residency shows in partnership with singer Laura Marling.

While recording a live EP with Marling in 2013, Berman realized that the way to make a record was to strip the process down to get to the essence of the song. His new debut album, Before the Bridge, does just that. Berman and his supporting cast cut the 10 tunes on this record in only two days.

When Brian Larney of the Town Hall was recording his five-song EP, his plan was to call it The Charm Offensive. That changed the day he stumbled across an old political button that read “America Needs J.F.K.” Although America Needs the Town Hall isn't intended to be a political EP, it certainly reflects the current state of media and politics. Larney's songwriting is influenced as much by Burt Bacharach and the Partridge Family as he is by modern alternative groups such as Father John Misty, City and Colour, and the Decemberists.

Hannah Siglin is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from the Pacific Northwest. Her love of singing was evident early, and when she was 6 her parents gave her a guitar so she could learn to accompany her voice. Siglin began studying roots and folk music and quickly became a well-known performer at local festivals in Spokane, Washington. She performs actively in Boston, Massachusetts, where she studies at Berklee.
