Mayah Denyelle / Jean-Luc / STAZ
Mayah Dyson, known by her stage name Mayah Denyelle, is currently a junior at Berklee. In May 2013, Mayah released her debut EP, Mayah The ?. This was the first time she released original music to the public. In December 2015, she was cast to be on Kelly Rowland’s television show Chasing Destiny. Mayah is currently working a new project, which is due for release in early 2017.
Jean-Luc is a pop singer, songwriter, and rapper whose music combines elements of electronic dance, R&B, and hip- hop. After releasing hit songs "Drunk," "Kaleidoscope," and "2AM," Jean-Luc has gained the recognition of numerous blogs and artists, including Solange Knowles. He fully embraces the visual medium of music videos to shape himself not only as an artist, but as a brand that encompasses music, film, and fashion. Jean-Luc combines his youthful, provocative aesthetic with iconography reminiscent of Prince, Madonna, and Michael Jackson to create something everyone is waiting for: the Prince of Pop.
Hailing from Los Angeles, California, STAZ (Annahstasia Enuke) is a Nigerian-American musician whose sound takes influences from the jazz playbook of her youth and soul titans like Bill Withers, Nina Simone, Tracy Chapman, and Sade. She places herself among the modern sounds of Ibeyi, Solange, Camille, and Lion Babe. Her sound continues to shift and develop as she pursues her education at Tufts University, where she focuses in fine art and political theory.
