Carl Beatty
Carl Beatty began his career at Mediasound, a recording studio in New York City, which led to a successful freelance career. He has worked with a variety of artists, ranging from Sesame Street to the Ramones, Tom Jones to the B-52's, and Luther Vandross to Joan Jett, to name just a few.
In 1989, Beatty started a new phase in his career when he moved to Boston to teach engineering at Berklee. Fifteen years later, he shifted to his administrative tenure at Berklee, assuming the role of chief of staff in the Office of the President.
Beatty served as assistant vice president for artist and music industry relations. His professional history, both inside and outside of Berklee, uniquely qualified him to act as a liaison between the college and alumni, artists, and music industry connections.
