Berklee Alumni Receive 2020 Tony Award Nominations
Three Berklee College of Music alumni received Tony Award nominations this year.
Charlie Rosen ’12, a three-time Drama Desk Awards nominee, received a Tony nomination in the Best Orchestrations category for his work co-orchestrating Moulin Rouge! The Musical. Brian Lee B.M. ’14 and Dayna Bloom B.M. ’14, who served as producers for Moulin Rouge! The Musical, were nominated in the Best Musical category.
Boston Conservatory at Berklee alumni made an impressive showing in Tony-nominated productions. Evan Kinnane (B.F.A. ’18, musical theater) performed in the ensemble for Moulin Rouge! The Musical, and Ebony Williams (B.F.A. ’05, contemporary dance) and John Cardoza (B.F.A. ’16, musical theater) were part of the ensemble for Jagged Little Pill, the musical based on the hit 1995 Alanis Morissette album, which received a nomination in the Best Musical category.
