Rooney, a Los Angeles–based indie alternative group formed in 1999, is led by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Robert Schwartzman. Rooney was initially signed to Geffen/Interscope by record producer and icon Jimmy Iovine. The band released multiple albums and singles that reached platinum sales.

After returning from a hiatus in 2016, Rooney went fully independent, releasing new music under Schwartzman’s label, Beachwood Park Music. This year, which marks the 20th anniversary of the band, Rooney plans to release new music and embark on the road for a special and intimate nationwide tour. The Break the Wall Tour will feature live and unplugged sets across 26 United States cities in May and June.
