Berklee Announces 2025 Spring Signature Series

This season’s lineup features a Fleetwood Mac tribute, a mambo big band celebration, a gospel music extravaganza, and more.

The Signature Series returns in spring 2025 with a diverse lineup of concerts spotlighting the creativity, cultural depth, and artistic excellence of the Berklee community. Running from February through May, this season features drummer and composer Kendrick Scott ’03 leading a student ensemble, Eguie Castrillo’s Mambo Mania with his all-star big band, the Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice’s second Grand Gathering showcasing all nine of its ensembles, and more.

The Signature Series opens with a student ensemble led by Kendrick Scott, an acclaimed drummer and composer whose credits include collaborations with Herbie Hancock, Charles Lloyd, and the Blue Note All-Stars. Curated by Matthew Stevens, associate professor of guitar, the group will perform Scott’s chosen repertoire, showcasing his inventive compositional style and versatile drumming. Buy tickets

Great American Songbook: Dreams—The Music of Fleetwood Mac

This interdisciplinary tribute to Fleetwood Mac will feature a global cast of over 80 Berklee students, showcasing a wide array of vocalists, instrumentalists, arrangers, track producers, choreographers, dancers, and visual artists as they reinterpret classics such as “Dreams,” “Go Your Own Way,” “Rhiannon,” and “Landslide.” Produced by Maureen McMullan PD ’09, this performance highlights the legacy of one of rock's most influential and iconic acts. Mambo Mania: Eguie Castrillo and His Big Band All-Stars Featuring Edmar Colón

Grand Gathering: Jazz and Gender Justice

The Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice presents its second Grand Gathering, featuring Terri Lyne Carrington, the institute’s founder and artistic director, as well as Kris Davis, Christiana Hunte, Val Jeanty, Matthew Stevens, and artist-in-residence Marquis Hill. The event will showcase all nine of the institute’s ensembles, performing styles ranging from modern and mainstream to free and electronic jazz, and will also include improvised dance and original compositions by contemporary composers and Berklee students. Gospel Extravaganza 2025—Through the Years: A Celebration of Berklee's Reverence Gospel Ensemble

This year’s Gospel Extravaganza will showcase Berklee’s Reverence Gospel Ensemble and honor over 40 years of gospel music excellence at the college. Presented by the Africana Studies Department and hosted by Dr. Teresa Hairston-Jackson, a respected gospel music scholar and historian who recently joined the department’s faculty, the event will include a special retrospective performance by the Reverence Reunion Gospel Choir.
