Biography

Stefanie Henning (she/her) currently serves as the associate vice president, career strategy and services at Berklee. In this role, she works in partnership with faculty and staff to prepare students for sustainable careers by providing a robust Berklee network, coordinated career resources, and enriching experiential opportunities that help students define, develop, and realize their artistic, creative, and career potential and purpose with greater intention and success.

Henning has served in multiple roles throughout her tenure at Berklee, most recently leading a transformation in the career services division by innovating on best practices and designing new approaches to advising and programming that have resulted in increased engagement with students and employers. She also produces annual events like Career Jam, a signature event that welcomes well-known artists and industry experts to campus to network with students through panels, master classes, auditions, and showcases.

Henning began her career as a talent agent at International Creative Management (ICM Partners) and has an extensive background leading digital transformation as an executive for Fox Television Studios, Universal Music Group, and Macromedia (now Adobe). In addition to serving as a former board member for Women in Film, she has lectured at the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, UCLA Extension, and USC School of Cinematic Arts, and has been featured in many articles relating to the merging of technology and entertainment for publications that include the Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Los Angeles Business Journal, and Fast Company. Henning holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland.
