Faculty

Berklee’s Latin faculty members seek to guide and engage the greater Berklee community through publicizing and curating related events, course offerings, and teaching resources. Hailing from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Peru, Trinidad, Uruguay, Venezuela, Germany, Israel, Sweden, Portugal, and the United States, they are recognized worldwide, having earned multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy awards and nominations. 

Frequently performing and traveling to international conferences to give master classes and clinics, Latin faculty members belong to leading trade organizations, such as the Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the International Association for Jazz Education, the National Association of Music Merchants, Centro Latinoamericano de Altos Estudios Musicales (CLAEM), International Society of Bassists (ISB), and the Percussive Arts Society International Convention. Most are also well published as composers, arrangers, instrument specialists, or music business experts.
