Recipients of Honorary Doctor of Music degrees at Berklee's 2001 Commencement were Donald Fagen and Walter Becker, of Steely Dan; Larry R. Linkin, former president and CEO of NAMM; and William M. Davis, who is stepping down from Berklee's Board of Trustees after 24 years of service.
