What does Berklee City Music mean to you?
Berklee City Music has changed my life as a musician. It helped me grow and become confident in myself as well as meet wonderful people who have the same amount of passion for music as I do.
What is it about music that makes you want to be a musician and potentially pursue it as a career?
I have not met one person who does not like music. Music moves people. It creates many emotions and enables a person to express themselves. I want to move people emotionally. I also want people to understand who I am and I feel as though the best way to do so is through music.
Who has had the greatest influence on your life and why?
My grandmother has had the greatest influence on my life because I feel like reaching my goals or at least trying my very best to be successful will satisfy not only her but me as well. It will make her proud of me. She has supported me in everything I have done. Because she has passed away, I feel like I should make her proud even though she is not physically with me still.
Outside of music what are your interests and hobbies?
I love to draw! Catch me in a really good mood and I just might draw you a picture. I am interested in acting, too.
