Dear John: Robert Ellis and Courtney Hartman Perform the Songs of John Hartford / Brian Dunne
In celebration of their album Dear John, Robert Ellis and Courtney Hartman perform an evening of duets written by John Hartford.
Ellis, a Texas-based singer-songwriter, and Hartman, a Colorado native living in New York City, are longtime friends with a shared love and appreciation for Hartford’s songwriting. This project is a tribute to the late songwriter.
Brian Dunne, a singer-songwriter based in New York City, showcases sharp lyrical prowess and country-tinged vocals. Dunne's albums Songs from the Hive and Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements have garnered praise from CMT and Songwriting Magazine, and have earned him performances on NPR's Mountain Stage and the 2017 Cayamo cruise.
