Christian Lopez with Special Guests Elliot Taylor and Toledo
Steeped in the musical roots of his West Virginia upbringing, Christian Lopez epitomizes the soul of a traditional Appalachian folk musician. On his debut full-length effort, Onward, the young artist emulates the sound produced by the region’s resident pickers and strummers and tackles themes of love, perseverance, and coming of age.
Elliot Taylor's sound is unrefined, soulful, and genuine. Taylor draws his lyric inspiration from traveling the northern English countryside and has been named Sky TV's Best Unsigned Live Act, received BBC Radio 1 airplay, and been featured on indie film soundtracks along the way.
Daniel Alvarez de Toledo and Jordan Dunn-Pilz have been writing music together since 2009. Now accompanied by Harry Burr, Pedro Calloni, and Ole Kirkeng, the duo spearheads Toledo – an independent folk group based out of the Boston music scene. Blending their singer-songwriter roots with a contemporary alternative sound, this young group presents a new take on folk that is sure to make waves.
