Checklist for Continuing Students

In order to ensure a smooth return semester check-in, it’s important that you plan ahead and follow the steps outlined below:

  • If you have previously utilized federal financial aid, make sure to file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by April 17. The earlier you file, the earlier you will be able to successfully check in.
  • Parents of dependent students who previously utilized Federal PLUS loans will need to file a new PLUS application.
  • If you have an institutional scholarship, make sure you meet the terms and conditions (login required) so your scholarship can be automatically renewed.
  • International students who wish to be considered for institutional need-based aid should complete the CSS Profile.
