Dates, Deadlines, and Audition Sites

As part of your application to the college, you are required to complete a live audition and interview. All applicants will be automatically considered for scholarships through our live audition and interview process.

Audition spaces are limited. First preference will be given to those musicians who are applying for admission for the upcoming academic year. Non-applicants will be auditioned based upon space availability.

If you have already begun your application for admission to Berklee, we will contact you via email regarding the date and location of your audition and interview. If you have not begun your application for admission, apply now to Berklee for the upcoming academic year.

International Applicants Auditioning in Boston

If you are not a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S., you have the option to audition on-campus in Boston or at any of our international tour sites.

If you are auditioning in Boston, you may need to first obtain a temporary visitor visa to enter the U.S. Please check with the U.S. Embassy in your area for more details on applying for a visa, including processing timelines. Please be advised not to seek a student visa to participate in an audition, as this type of visa is issued only to accepted applicants.
