Where Do I Hang Out?

Like any college, Berklee has many places where you'll find students and faculty congregating to socialize, share books and notes and especially, to jam and talk shop. Student lounges can be found in each of the Residence Halls and campus buildings, but popular hang-out spots also include the student mailboxes, the 150 Mass. Ave. lobby, the Student Activities Center at 130 Mass. Ave, and the sidewalk in front of the 150 Mass. Ave building - dubbed "the Berklee Beach."

There is also no shortage of off-campus sites where you will find students, faculty and staff meeting over coffee and a quick bite.

At night, ensemble rooms, the cafeteria, which turns into a performance space after 10:00 p.m., and the recital halls and Performance Center are all busy with activity as students rehearse, perform, and take seats in the audience.
