Apply by mail or fax. Just download the application, then send your completed application form and $25 application processing fee to:

Please allow four weeks (six weeks for international applicants) to process your application. Once your application has been processed, we will notify you of your enrollment status by mail.

Cancellation and refund policy
Any student withdrawing from a special program must complete an exit interview with the director of that program. Students must complete the program in full to receive CMTE credit. Partial CMTE credit cannot be granted.

Standard Withdrawal
Students withdrawing from the program are eligible for a tuition (and housing rental charges, if applicable) credit according to the following schedule:

During the first day of class: 50% credit
After the first day of class: No credit

Medical Withdrawal
Students forced to withdraw for medical reasons may be eligible to receive a prorated adjustment of tuition for the program in which they are registered. If applicable, the housing fee may also be prorated. A medical withdrawal can be considered only if accompanied by written verification from a doctor that the student could not complete the program due to the disability.

The Berklee Grief and Loss Music Therapy Institute is approved by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) for 50 Specialty Continuing Music Therapy Education Credits. Credits awarded by CBMT are accepted by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). The Center for Music Therapy in End of Life Care (P-092) maintains responsibility for program quality and adherence to CBMT policies and criteria.
