Am I eligible?
You must be at least 15 years old by the start of the program, and have at least one year of experience on your instrument.
How should I prepare for the placement evaluation?
You will be placed into classes, lessons, and ensembles with participants of a similar training and ability. To determine your level, the faculty would like you to arrive prepared to play a short piece of music that features your strengths. You will be shown some music to sight-read and will also have the opportunity to do a little improvisation.
