Am I eligible? Bass Lines welcomes players of any level of experience, including beginners. All participants must be at least 15 years old by the start of the program.
How should I prepare for the placement evaluation? You will be placed into classes, labs, and ensembles with other participants of similar training. To determine your level, the faculty would like you to arrive prepared to play a short piece of music in the style you would like to study during the program: jazz/blues, rock/funk, or Latin/world beat. If you read music, you will be asked to demonstrate your skills in this area.
