Ensemble Showcase: The Music of Ornette Coleman, Directed Studies

Student ensembles perform a series of afternoon and evening recitals, led by faculty members Jeff Galindo, Fernando Brandao, and Dave Samuels. These end-of-semester performance finals will cover a range of styles, including including the music of Ornette Coleman, directed studies, and new compositions from student composers.

2:00 p.m. Jeff Galindo: The Music of Ornette Coleman

3:15 p.m. Fernando Brandao: Directed Studies

4:30 p.m. Dave Samuels: New Compositions from Student Composers

Recitals will run about 45 minutes long. Performance times are subject to change, without notice.
