A singular force in contemporary music, Tyshawn Sorey seamlessly blends jazz, classical, and improvisatory traditions from Europe and Africa to redefine the expressive potential of the drum kit. 

Pianist Alfredo Rodríguez was born into a prominent Cuban musical family and trained in classical conservatories, while percussionist Pedrito Martinez honed his deeply-rooted Afro-Cuban folkloric percussion and vocal techniques on the streets of Old Havana.  Rodríguez and Martinez take center stage for a high-energy evening that pulses with the spirit of Cuban musical traditions.

Drum Tao ignites the stage with thunderous taiko rhythms, acrobatic choreography, and a dazzlingly modern take on ancient Japanese tradition.

Boston Conservatory at Berklee Tap Club presents a showcase of live music and tap dancing celebrating tap dance as an art form, career path, culture, and community. 

The Berklee Annual International Folk Festival, directed by Christiane Karam and Vessela Stoyanova, unites Berklee’s vibrant community of students, faculty, and alumni in a compelling celebration of global musical traditions and cross-cultural performance. This performance features Grammy Award–winning singer and composer Arooj Aftab '10.
