Awards and Achievements
We understand if we sometimes sound like proud parents when boasting about the accomplishments of our students, faculty, and alumni. But you don't have to take our word for it—just look at all the awards they've won. Barely a day goes by that we don't hear about another contest won by a student, or an alumnus nominated for an important award. This is just a small sampling.
Winning a Grammy is the highest honor for a musician—and more than 300 have gone to Berklee alumni.
The Latin music world recognizes the best of its own with the Latin Grammys. Though the awards are new, Berklee alumni are already making their mark.
The Oscars, also known as the Academy Awards, honor the finest achievements in film. In Berklee's case, that means achievements in film scoring, sound editing, sound mixing, songs—even, for Quincy Jones '51, humanitarian efforts.
