Signature Series Presents
Andrés Cepeda Meets Berklee
In this Signature Series event, Latin Grammy-winner Andres Cepeda will perform music in various styles, including Latin rock-pop, bolero, and balada, accompanied by Berklee students.
Andres Cepeda’s career first took off with the Latin rock-pop band Poligamia. Cepeda began his solo career after the group disbanded and has since recorded ten albums under his own name. He has been nominated for eight Latin Grammy awards and in 2013 he won Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for Lo Mejor Que Hay En Mi Vida.
For this concert, Cepeda will perform with a large group of student musicians, celebrating the music of Colombia with arrangements by student writers. The concert is directed by Oscar Stagnaro, Matthew Nicholl, and Lee Abe.
