Originally from Madrid, Spain, Manuel García-Baró is a composer, pianist, and educator. He writes music for advertisements, television, film, and other media (ballet, corporate, and multimedia, etc.).

He currently teaches arranging and music production classes at Berklee College of Music. He is also the chair of the piano department and the music theory and composition department at the Community Music Center of Boston, and is on the piano faculty at Concord Conservatory of Music. He works for several music houses, including Gratitude Sound, Eclipse Music, FineTune Music, and Paramusical, maintaining an active career as a freelance composer across all types of media.
